Adjacent to the Superfund site, a proposed fast food eatery not yet subject to “health zoning,” as some municipalities have already done, against obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure is in a mostly demolished state at the corner of Eagle and Lawrence Road and is on renovation “hold” for 6 months from July 20, 2007.

It is believed that those who will be affected by the current decision to extend runway 17-35, redesign other runways and airspace over a rapidly urbanizing Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and southern New Jersey, as well as expanding  Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) have been subjected to falsehoods, intentional misinformation, unacceptable Environmental Impact Statement, no Economic Impact Statement or Analysis, inadequate public meetings, poorly funded expert reports, and a pattern of deceit and inaction and neglect practiced by FAA, Philadelphia International Airport and other officials in responsible positions for nearly a decade that has only built acceptance by FAA and the airport for expanding Philadelphia International Airport as a source of revenue for Philadelphia at the expense of residents health, safety and welfare in multiple municipalities.  Residents, on the other hand, have been vocal in their opposition.
