Nearly 25 years ago Haverford Township nominated the Superfund site to be included on EPA’s “to do” list; mainly this involves a number of private subcontractors who handle everything from dismantling the business at the site to drilling extraction wells in a process that treats some of the water under the site.  Slant or offset drilling, was not evaluated; in other applications, it has been used since the early 1970’s to extract from soil.
